1. First and foremost, you need to think about how many joins will be in the fairing (part) necessary to keep parts together and in nice look.

It is also important to check if at the point where we have decided drill and join together parts and rivet the counters parts on is not some kind of engine pipe or hose from inside. After constant contact in future the pipes or hoses might be tattered.

2. Furthermore, think about the choice of types of screws and counterparts. On the market you can get many types of quick fasteners, we present two most common types with two different types of counterparts, which we have also in offer in our accessories section - check it below.

a) Quick fastener and rivet counter part (the most common used type). (image # 1)
b) Quick fastener and counter parts clip on (image #2)

Furthermore you can choose between:
a) screw with D-ring in our offer here >>> (SCREW-P), which easily grab the finger or for
b) screw with allen head in our offer here >>> (SCREW-N).

Each option has its pros and cons. Therefore let your consideration on what is most suitable for you. Recommendations how many pcs are necessary to the each model of fairings you can find in detail of each part on our website and also below in following overview at the end of article.

If we are clear in those points, we can proceed to the actual installation. Now we analyze a variant with rivet counterpart.

3. Fairing must perfectly hold during drilling itself, it is a good idea to hold it by the clamps, or enlist the help of a friend. (image #1) By smaller diameter drill bit eg 3-4 mm drill both connected parts (further fairing) simultaneously the first section of connection. (image #4)

4. If all is ok, we will enlarge the hole to 6,9mm, so the went through the quick fastener. (images #5)

5. Take the counter part of the quick fastener and fasten it to the inner side of the fairing. (see image 6) (if we only insert the rivet counter part to the fairing, then each part of the fairing would standing off from each other of its thickness, which often does not look nice. Someone does not mine, submitted do, we want to have parts nicely matched, as they are tested during the manufacturing process in the production Motoforza.
We put counterpart parallel to the edge and by the free (flexible) part out (see image #7.), Where we can slightly reduce tension of joins, in the future, by pressing or pulling. (Note: if the rivet counterparts like insert on the part (see image #) reduction of tension of connections will be not possible, quick fasteners may loosen later and as we have already mentioned above they will in most cases stand off from each other about the thickness of counterpart.
If we have excacttly established counterpart into correct postion, by small drill bit with diameter of lateral holes (diameter 3,2 mm) (image #7-8) and drill the first hole, where we insert the rivet to avoid possible side-swerving. Drill second hole and then we can push both rivets and rivet by riveting Tool (image #9-10).

Furthermore still on the first part (always on part where will be the screw itself) enlarge hole to quick screw to 8mm and the joint is now ready. (images # 11)

6. Fasten parts by first quick fastener together a fits both of parts again. Drill further signed hole and continue in same procedure again as above. (12-14)
